Dermagenetics – A Subsidiary of GeneLink, Inc.

GeneLink’s groundbreaking research and product development programs have literally created an entirely new industry being called Dermagenetics© –the scientific application of DNA analysis to determine and create customized and more effective skin care products.

After nearly 10 years of research, in 2005, GeneLink launched its subsidiary Dermagenetics, Inc. This was a revolutionary moment where GeneLink had taken years of research and applied it to a consumer product. The Dermagenetics Skin Care System customized skin care products to an individual’s DNA by using GeneLink’s patented genetic assessment process. The core of this testing process is the analysis of an individual’s SNPs – single nucleotide polymorphisms (or ‘snips’).

SNPs are natural variation’s in each individual’s DNA. While 99% of all humans share the exact same DNA, these SNPs are the unique DNA chemistry that gives each individual their unique characteristics – be it physical appearance or physiology. These variations in individual SNPs also influence each person’s natural physiology and overall health. The research conducted by GeneLink has focused on understanding the chemistry of SNPs and how various combinations of vitamins and minerals can serve to support their function and hence support an individual’s overall health. These nutritional supplement ‘ingredients’ are called SNPactives™, and they are able to compensate in an individual’s DNA where there are genetic weaknesses. With the Dermagenetics™ product, these SNPactives™ are infused into lotions, salves and other cosmetic products to deliver rejuvenating results to the consumer.

GeneLink’s Dermagenetics™ products are designed to diminish, repair and inhibit signs of aging, and it is also designed to improve your skin’s overall health and appearance.

In August of 2009, the pre-launch announcement of Dermagenetics™ and its products will join with GeneWize Life Sciences. There are currently no orders being taken.
